Description
- Product Overview: Terbixen® is an antifungal formulation containing Terbinafine, used for the treatment of various fungal infections affecting skin, nails, and scalp.
- Composition: Terbinafine BP 250 mg | Dosage Form: Tablet
- Pharmacological Class: Allylamine Antifungal
- Mechanism of Action: Terbinafine inhibits the enzyme squalene epoxidase, leading to disruption of fungal cell membrane synthesis and resulting in fungal cell death.
- Indications: Tinea corporis (ringworm) | Tinea cruris | Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot) | Onychomycosis (nail fungal infection) | Fungal skin infections
