Short Description

Thalamia® is an immunomodulatory medicine containing Thalidomide USP 100 mg, used in the treatment of multiple myeloma and certain inflammatory conditions such as erythema nodosum leprosum. It works by modulating immune response and inhibiting abnormal cell growth. To be used only under strict medical supervision.

Description

1. Product Overview: Thalamia® is an immunomodulatory and anticancer agent containing Thalidomide, used in the management of multiple myeloma and selected inflammatory disorders.

2. Composition: Thalidomide USP 100 mg | Dosage Form: Capsule

3. Pharmacological Class: Immunomodulatory / Antineoplastic Agent

4. Mechanism of Action: Thalidomide modulates the immune system by inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as TNF-α) and reducing angiogenesis, thereby suppressing abnormal immune activity and tumor growth.

5. Indications: Multiple myeloma | Erythema nodosum leprosum (ENL) | Selected immunological disorders as prescribed

6. Dosage & Administration: As directed by oncology or specialist physician only | Oral use | Usually taken once daily at bedtime | Dose strictly individualized
