1. Product Overview: Imaxen 400® is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor containing Imatinib, used in the treatment of certain blood and solid tumors including chronic myeloid leukemia and gastrointestinal stromal tumors.

2. Composition: Imatinib Mesilate BP equivalent to Imatinib 400 mg | Dosage Form: Tablet

3. Pharmacological Class: Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (BCR-ABL, KIT, PDGFR inhibitor)

4. Mechanism of Action: Imatinib selectively inhibits abnormal tyrosine kinase enzymes such as BCR-ABL, KIT, and PDGFR, thereby blocking uncontrolled cell proliferation and inducing cancer cell death.
